Following tests are to be carried out as per IS: 325.

• AC hi – pot test at 2.0 kv r.m.s. for 1 minute.
• IR test at 1.0 kv dc before and after hv test.
• Winding resistance test.
• Impedance test by use of 1 phase and 3 phase low voltage ac supply.
• No load test run.(UP TO 50-HP )
• Space heater test.
• Vibration testing.
• Motor checker for inductance testing.

Guarantee:

Rewound motor will be guaranteed for ‘B’ class insulation 6 months & ‘F’ class insulation 12 months from the date of dispatch against the defect of material and workmanship only.
